Demo Zone

Submission

Demo Proposal Submission Deadline: 23:59 Beijing Time (UTC/GMT +8.00), Saturday, 1 August 2026

The Demo Zone features interactive, on-demand live demonstrations of cutting-edge, non-commercial research prototypes and proof-of-concept innovations across optical communication devices, systems, and networks. Hosted in dedicated booths fully equipped with tables, monitors, and bulletin boards, each demo offers intimate, small-group sessions that foster real-time technical exchanges between presenters and attendees. Demonstrations can integrate on-site facilities, remote hardware, pre-recorded videos, and live remote experimental connections, creating a flexible, immersive platform to showcase the latest advances in optical communications. We invite all interested authors to submit your papers to N5: Industry Perspectives and Network-Centric Technology Evolution.

Demo Proposal Submission Guidelines

Proposals for demonstrations must be submitted via the online submission system, with a demo description in PDF format in adherence to the ACP regular paper style guide. Each demo proposal should be three pages long and must include the following required sections:

· A 35-word abstract;

· An Overview section fully detailing the demo’s research theme and demonstrated technologies;

· An Innovation section stating the existing technical challenges and the novel advantages of your solution;

· An ACP Relevance section explaining why the ACP audience and communities should be interested in this demo;

· Demo Content & Implementation section covering four key points: (i) demo objectives and system configuration; (ii) on-site physical layout and full equipment list; (iii) presentation flow for conference attendees; (iv) planned interactive operations for visitors (mandatory for high engagement).

All demos shall showcase innovative concepts, functional research prototypes or new applications across optical communication devices, systems, transmission and networks. Only research-stage technical achievements are accepted; commercial/pre-commercial product displays are prohibited.
